慟哭と去りぬ / gone with a lamentation
慟哭と去りぬ / dōkoku to sarinu / gone with a lamentation*
作詞:京
作曲: Dir en grey
translation by deidrich
Colourless and transparent boundless, running wildly
What kind of face will it assume?
Forcing M a reparation for the unseeing
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
A vague, mutinous feeling
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
Faceless
Sticking all over the voice that is sweet but too vague
Every evening, my breath accumulates in my brain and ends up blocking my mouth... (1)
I'm Behind You
It does seem that desire opens itself like a gaping maw, but
What is it that you seek? Even it's existence
I Do Not Want To Know
Water flows over a distorted face
There, truth swims
Rot Away
Without You
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
A vague, mutinous feeling
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
No Saving Me
As expected, I go mad with no one left to blame
The empty Blue Sky + the bite mark
Where the hell are you...
Do You Live?
Who's fault is it that I'm unable to trust? With it's clever words
The sun's companion
offers up choices that are naught but dead ends
A single body takes it all in drained even of compassion
Silent, tainted skin overflows with pretence
Keeping the wounds hidden deep inside the chest
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
A vague, mutinous feeling
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
Destroy it, even if it's Fate

It's vague. It's really vague. The sentence structures are really fucking confusing sometimes. >_>
I used the booklet translation as a foundation for this one.
*This bitch title. 去りぬ is a traditional, past perfect tense of 去る. 去りぬ (gone) is not commonly used in modern Japanese anymore, and here kyo uses it with a single word, lamentation, and no context.
I find the phrase confusing as fuck in translation. In Japanese it's okay, but I just can't convey it properly in English, so you get 'Gone with a lamentation'. Which sounds awkward and annoying but whatever.
1: 'iki' is written in kana so I don't know for sure if it means breath, but since the verse is referencing the voice and mouth I thought it appropriate. Also, 'shimatsu' implies an end result with a negative connotation, so it's safe to say this occurrence feels woeful to the speaker.
無色透明 上限無き暴走に
どんな顔をして溶け込む?
強制 M 見えない者への代償
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
曖昧な反逆感情
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
Faceless
曖昧で甘すぎてベタ付く声が
毎晩脳に溜まっていき口を塞ぐ始末で・・・
I'm Behind You
欲がパクリと口開いてんだろうが、いったい
何を求めているんだ?存在自体さえもが
I do not want to know
歪む顔に水を浮かべては泳ぐ真実
Rot away
Without you
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
曖昧な反逆感情
Cries In Vain
Ways To Destroy Your Ambition
Reborn
No Saving Me
誰も咎めてはいないはずもなく狂い求める
Blueなカラ空+噛んだ爪跡
いったい何処に・・・
Do you live?
信じられないのは誰のせい?言葉巧みに
見せ掛けの選択無き道ばかりを
連れやってくる太陽
身体一つ全てをうけて 流す慈悲さえ
無言の肌を染めては溢れ出した
傷を胸に秘めて
Rot away
Without you
Cries In Vain
Go Mad
曖昧な反逆感情
